Giggity giggity...home again....
Got back in late last night (30+ hour flight) and had a heck of a surprise at the baggage claim.
Ran into Edward Elric himself (Vic Mignoga)! He looked about as tired as me so I didn't bother with a selfie - just leaned in and told him that I loved his work...got a handshake and a few seconds of chat...(Hey...he was worn out from travel too... and no need to create a scene), then parted ways.
Leaving for Chesapeake in 3 days....

Safe travels and best wishes to you. I hope to see you again one of these days!
1. Nyquil liquicaps. Two of those, and I'm out like a light.
2. 2 changes of underwear, 2 fresh t-shirts, and 4 pairs of socks.
3. A neck pillow.
4. A Power Squid.
I've saved people with Nyquil. Saw a lady in the waiting area who was honking, snorking, sneezing and hacking, looking like she had a few balloons in her sinuses. I gave her two blisters and told her to take one about 30 minutes before boarding starts. When we landed in LA, she caught up to me and thanked me for saving her life. "I was expecting my head to explode, but the pills opened me up and knocked me out. I slept like a baby!"
Changing your socks during a layover, or even in the lavatory on the plane, can make a HUGE difference, and gives you a huge mental boost. Same with changing your skivvies.
As for the Power Squid, finding an open outlet at the airport can be like finding chicken teeth. There's always someone using it already. But if you offer to swap out their wall wart with your PS, you'll not only find people willing to accommodate the swap, you'll make friends!
