Reuploads: The one time it isn't okay.

I've always avoided uploading anything I didn't want saved or reposted anywhere. It's my responsibility. Giving everything away and letting it into the wild is probably how anyone's even found it. I don't promote my own work on any other sites, so I owe all the thanks for discoverability to other people, who I'll likely never even meet.
Unfortunately, if someone dangerous to themself or others tried to co-opt your work as means to hide nasty things they'd said or done in the past and lure unsuspecting people in, you'd be powerless to stop them. There is currently one specific user on Twitter (Which I don't have, so it took me multiple days to learn about this) who has a history of conspiring to violate domestic animals, and is using multiple artists' fatfur works without permission in an attempt to hide their reputation and intentions. To my continuous horror, one of their posts included one of my older fatfur pics, going as far as including my screen name in the post.
At least one idiot out there called the involved piece a "commission." What the hell is your problem? Why would you assume I would do business with people like that? "Ooh look at me, savior of all these oblivious artists I treat like commodities and not people." Go deal with your superiority complex somewhere else. Quit using your ignorance to invent rumors about artists.
I disavow all of what this person is doing, I will never associate directly nor indirectly with people who condone or advocate heinous acts like that. Even if you think this makes me a wimp, I still feel horrible for having anything I made misused for something so messed up. Despite a renewed interest in drawing, I choose to indefinitely postpone all future art uploads. I hope this is a responsible solution. Sorry to anyone I let down.

It's depressing but also humorous that this person's choice insult for anyone blowing a whistle on their behavior is "desperate." No, I think "desperate" would be one who lacks any creative ability whatsoever, instead opting to augment their Twitter statistics by cannibalizing random artists who can't defend themselves. You know, on top of them wanting to bonk the family dog.
