the spring forward messes you up cuz the fall back is a lie! Or was it the other way around? Either way it's all BS, setting our clocks doesn't mess with celestial body orbits lol

DST is just plain stupidity, instead of messing with clock, just star the day sooner !
When I read manga I was amazed by the fact they woke up at 4 AM, while I woke myself at 6, until I travel to japan and understand the time was "sun time" ie it's 12 when sun is at his zenith, when it's 2PM when it happen in brussel. (1 hour DST and 1 more for "german hour" due to hitler changing the time zone GMT to the German time zone GMT+1, don't know why it was never set back)

yeah it's a really bad system. There's efforts to get rid of it but no luck yet.

You can always tell when a lawmaker isn't serious about ending the time changes when they propose a permanent DST bill. Any state can adopt permanent standard time and end the time changes immediately.

yeah more should do it, it's such an annoying thing with little real benefit.
