Best way to get noticed is to create an audition tape or set and send it to an agency, or send it in for indie games or animations that need VA work. Basically, all you'd need to do is record various samples of your voice doing different voices or accents and put it out there for someone to notice. Upload it to YouTube, etc.

I'm not in the business, but what I understand with any kind of skill you need to practice, practice, practice - Trying out different thing. You'll discover what you like to voice act, where you need improment and where are your limits. Like Jon says too - record samples to create your porfolio and upload your best online. Also, have fun with it! ^_^

Indeed. ^^ I already know, though, what kinds of voices I would NOT want to do, and a few of what I'd LOVE to do/try.
