Heavy Hearted tonight.

It has been an exceedingly lengthy and heartrending day, my friends. The day commenced with a rather amusing miscommunication, which, while not catastrophic, was certainly not the most auspicious way to begin. Alas, the day only proceeded to deteriorate further. While my spouse was attending to her grandfather in his final moments, she sent me a message that a dear friend of ours had been missing since the early hours of the morning. Regrettably, at precisely 2:44pm, her grandfather breathed his last. And, to compound our sorrow, we received news at 4:50pm that our friend's body had been discovered (foul play not suspected). Without question, it is safe to say that this day has been arduous and trying in the extreme.

Thank you *hugs*. Our friend was the more heartbreaking of the two as We knew her grandfather was going to pass, as he had requested his o2 to be lowered. Our friend was not expected.

*hugs* thank you. It definitely isn't easy. We just never expected our friend. He was one of those people who was a ball of energy, I kind that lit up a room when he entered, the kind that always greeted you with a bright smile and big hug.
