LIFE UPDATE: I have escaped my abusive home

I am no longer living in New York with my abusive home, mainly my older brother who was quite cruel and uncaring about my well being. I am safe now and free, from his shackles and burdens. I have no desire to ever step foot in that home or to ever see him again.
On this past Monday night, he attacked me and bit my right thumb. I still have his bite mark on there and he also caused me to bleed underneath my nail. Sadly I won't be able to draw for a while, but I am doing okay for now and recovering from trauma.
The new home I'm in is very cozy and comfortable. I am able to rest without feeling guilt constantly. In due time, I'll find a job and really begin to make something for myself. Looking forward to my new life. :3c

He really made my life worse in just about everyway. Maybe someday he'll get the proper help to improve himself but only time will tell
I have a friend who's trying to get out of from his abusive home. Although we don't have a clue on how to go about doing so.
