Health update

So after some long and VERY frustrating days, I am finally back home.
Here’s a not so brief summary of what happened:
On Saturday I woke up to my left leg being swollen to almost 2x its size, so I ran to the public ER and spent 8h waiting in line for an appointment. They took some blood, and next day I went back, spent more 6h to have it analyzed by a doctor.
I got diagnosed with a possible case of thrombosis, and they hospitalized me on the spot because it was life-threatening. And also so I could be sent to a bigger hospital to do an ultrasound so they could confirm if it was thrombosis or not.
I spend a day and a half waiting for the transfer, and when I finally got to the hospital at 8pm, I got told that they only did ultrasounds on mornings. And since there was no place for me to spend the night because the hospital was full, two doctors advised me to go home and return the morning after.
When I got there at 7am the next day some nurses refused to let me in and to the exams because I had left the night before, because even if the doctor told me to go back home, I wasn’t supposed to. And there was nothing I could do but make a formal complaint and then wait god knows how long for a fix.
So I had to go and pay out of my pocket for a private doctor and exams so I could discover what the fuck was wrong with my leg. All that while not being supposed to walk cause that could move the blood clot to my brain or lungs and kill me.
At least now I’m home, leg aching as hell, but more calm and with all the meds I need to start healing.
The worst part of all this is hat no one knows what caused it, my bloodwork was fine, no diabetes or high-blood pressure. It just got bad out of the blue.
TL,DR: I got frustrated, but I’m home and medicated. I have to stay in bed taking antibiotics for 10 days.
I’ll probably be fine, but work will be delayed for a bit…
I might open some quick collab YCHs with my partner so we can have some money for bills and stuff while I’m not able to take properly commissions and finish the big ones I have overdue.
So keep an eye out.

I hope you have a swift and full recovery, albeit I am puzzled why you're supposed to take antibiotics against a thrombosis.
I'm glad to hear that it's just a very minor one. I'm curious what has caused the inflammation though.
But frankly, I'd also be at least moderately stressed out when a medical facility is incapable of actually treating me like a human-being and not as a cash-cow that's to be milked... so I am very sorry you had to go through this ordeal. :<
And it’s ok, I’m glad in the end I got the treatment I needed.
Bloodclot is never fun because I got them in Both of my lungs as Specalist put me on Bloodthinners and replaced BCP into IUD for a reason.
And oh, they probably replaced it because birth control pils are known to case thrombosis, happened to my cousin as well and she almost died D:
But hopefully things start heading in through right direction in the next couple days.
I know on long flights or for people who sit long periods of time while working that you get up and stretch every so often. IIRC, I think it is about once an hour.
Doctor said that I should start to get to get better in 4 days, if not, I should go back there. So yeah, let’s hope things go well ;;
But yes, let's hope all goes well.
