Blackout Emergency
General
On November 18, 2023, my city experienced a prolonged blackout that lasted for 72 excruciating hours.
The blackout caused widespread disruption and hardship for our community. Businesses were forced to close, and residents were left without essential utilities like electricity and water. The surge in prices for basic supplies further strained my finances, pushing my credit cards to their limits.
While power has been restored to my home, many areas still remain without electricity, running water, and internet access. I'm currently assessing the damage to my house, including the loss of food due to the power outage and damage to some electronic devices.
I will resume work on commissions as soon as possible and endeavor to make up for the delay in the commission queue. To help alleviate the financial burden caused by the blackout, I'm running a KOFI donation campaign.
Your generous contributions will primarily go towards covering the inflated costs of essential supplies like batteries, candles, ice, and bottled water during the blackout. Any additional funds will be applied to my credit card bill, which has accrued significant charges due to the unexpected expenses.
Even the smallest contribution or a simple gesture of sharing this message would be deeply appreciated.
Thank you for your understanding and support
