Honestly, with the recent helluva boss video just posted, I swear that stolas cares more about love with blitzo than his own kid because she's nowhere to be seen and it's all about Blitzo

sorry. just ranting how I feel

I believe Stolas loves Octavia with all his heart. When Striker mentioned her name, Stolas threatened him. I imagine that Stolas does not get to see Octavia whenever he wants because of Stella. Stolas stuck with Stella's constant physical and mental abuse throughout their relationship for Octavia to have a healthy normal life.

I think Stolas can't help but love Blitzo due to being his first ever (and likely only) friend. He was naive with Blitzo's tricks, and Blitzo went through abuse where he always thinks Stolas doesn't really care for him due to their differences in status.

Eventually, we'll see what Blitzo will do when Stolas gives him that gem.
