I have to say: I love how much my life as an independent queer artist can be so full of surprises and so colorful. I hold to myself with recognition all the precious experiences that I can live following it, continuing day after day my extraordinary journey.
Getting involved in this way also means exposing yourself and having to embrace the possibility of encountering unforeseen events, for which you have to take responsibility. And this unfortunately concerns the moving to my relatives in France.
In recent months, I've transparently communicated my motivations to my relatives, expressing my need to "emigrate" to France. Despite clear communication through vlogs, letters in French, and face-to-face discussions, after a positive week with them around Lyon, an unexpected economic request was imposed for me if I wanted to stay, creating difficulties even with anticipated fundraising support.
Efforts to negotiate and find a meeting point in the following days were unsuccessful, escalating my delicate request for help into a risky situation because I had nowhere else to go. Despite fear, I continued work on commissions and donation rewards while seeking a safe place for winter, luckily securing support from another good friend of mine near Milan. I’m so grateful.
- SO WHAT HAPPENS NOW?
The initiative of the second edition of SKETCH N CROWDFUNDIN was launched on the idea of "financing the transfer to the new place to stay and its initial costs".
For this reason, the mission being unchanged, the SKETCH N CROWDFUNDIN project will continue for the declared three months and it will be open until February 14th. Updates will be made to the posted promotional materials, acknowledging the news about moving to a new home: The small white inscription "Moving to France" of SNC2 logo will be changed to "Moving to a New Home", along with a new and proper description inside the promo pictures.
Fundraising post on Ko-Fi includes already a summary of this message, along the past one that will be strikethrough, ensuring transparency and openness about recent event.

- NOW, LET’S KEEP DRAWING!
"This is a journey that no one has made before - We will walk this road and I will never be tired - Until the time will bring on your hair the white", as the Måneskin would say in Torna a Casa.
Thank you to readers, commissioners, and supporters for being a part of this exciting yet delicate chapter in my life. As I prepare to move to my friend's place in a couple of weeks, I'll keep you posted as usual 🤗🦁✨ A big wireless hug to all!
Always yours,
Dave
⭐️ If you like my work, and if you’d like to support me, thank you very much! I appreciate every bits of help. Every coffee counts! Tap here 🏆 t.ly/Esl_x
