I'm Back!

Hey everyone! I have returned home and have returned to work :3
I came home from my two week vacation on the 10th, I used the 11th to unpack and run some christmas errands since I have two weeks to prepare for Christmas (AHHHH) and I have been back to work today! It feels good to be back drawing as I miss creating, its a big part of me and while having a list of commissions can be stressful, I do love what I do and really enjoy the ability to be creative and have this outlet. I feel a little rusty today though and the commission I did today took much longer then it usually does, but I hope to be back into the swing of things after I knock out some of my smaller orders as sort of a warm up back into my more detailed commissions.
Unfortunately I have also caught a cold which may be playing a part in my struggle, we took covid tests and were luckily negative but I'm still feeling pretty icky. I think its one of those sinus colds where theres so much pressure it feels like your head is going to explode. :P I hope it passes soon cause I just have so many things to do with the holidays coming up and working!
As for my trip, I have learned that 14 days is entirely too long and I just dont enjoy being social that many days consecutively lmao. Despite the fact I didnt plan this trip, I think in the future 1 week to 10 days is the most I'll agree too lol. I did enjoy myself for the most part and was really glad to see Nicks family and spend time with them. We are very fortunate and I am grateful I was able to take this time to visit family and experience life outside my home! But I am happy to be back with my puppies and my bed and my routine with drawing! :3
I hope you guys have had a wonderful start to December and that the upcoming holidays arnt too stressful on you all.
Have yall got your christmas shopping done yet or am I the only shmuck behind? :P

Then I panic, and rush to get it all done in a week :'D
I definitely look forward to seeing anything you post whenever you post it. Glad the trip went well for the most part. As long as you had as much fun as possible, that’s what matters. Sorry you caught a cold. Hope you feel better soon.
I honestly don’t really do any Christmas shopping, I just don’t really have the money, let alone know what people want. My mom usually does the shopping for us and her working for Nike she’s usually able to get it all done at least a couple months in advance.
