Have used iPad in many years now, and I think it's quite outstandingly good have one!
Haven't used PC at all, after I swith to iPad!

So my suggestion, an iPad Pro! That one you can make artwork you want!

I've considered one for Procreate Dreams too, been tempting!

I just upgraded to a Huion Kamvas pen display and love it. There are a bunch in various price ranges and sizes.

I've gotten a lot of people liking Kamvas too! Seems solid :D

I had the exact same Huion & upgraded to a KAMVAS 13 last year & it has changed my llllllife, four times the pressure sensitivity, same size, good power draw, second monitor (first for me) but still works great for using as the tablet while you look up at the monitor you're used to. My only complaint has been the weird cord situation it comes with. It'll take a lil experimenting to figure out which port works & the cord is really short but rearranging my desk paid out in a huge, huge way. I've never loved doing art more :3

Well I have a big one, the Wacom Cintiq UX 21, maybe too much and old but until today it works perfect. Now the Wacom One is pretty good and I think must have lowered the price at this point I hope.
Although if you want to try a really cheap and portable one, I heard about the XP-PEN Artist 12, or any small tablet of XP_PEN.
I guess Ipad is a good option if you don't want it attached to a PC.

And yep, drawing on a screen helps a lot but also depends on each person. Don't worry about the scratches on the screen, are design to that job, my old Wacom have few after 6 years of use and I never used a protection. Just be sure to change the pen tips when are too sharp or use soft ones.

My experience with Huion was bad, I never liked how the pen feels, the tip feels like is floating and made me lose precision on my drawings, also you have to check if you need to put in charge the pen, that's annoying.

Will be better if you could try a tablet before you purchase it.

Yeah I've had some friends offer old tablets as opposed to buying a new one outright, will take that route over something new and way more expensive lol.

Yeah I've heard good things about Wacom and XP-Pen! I have a chargeless Huion pen so that's been helpful there, sorry it was a bad experience D:
