I hope you and your family had Happy and Safe Holidays as well all the same.

It's been a quiet one for me. The side of my family that usually meets for Christmas decided not to this year. The shadow of my uncle's passing at the beginning of the year still looms large over his family unfortunately. But the kicker was the the ones who don't usually show up for family gatherings apparently decided to have one of their own and I didn't get an invitation. So I have mixed feelings. I'm glad to see that they did something, but I'm sad I didn't get an invite.
