Well, last night it hit me like a ton of bricks. I'm typing this at six-twenty P.M. , and I've been in bed mostly since about 2 A.M. I'm being stupid and smoking the first cigarette I've had since about 1 a.m. It's good.... but it burns.

I have a sore throat. I ache everywhere, and I feel like I have a fever. I've started to develop an occasional cough, which is fortunately a very deep, expectorant cough that is accompanied by productive volumes of dark yellow mucus. Not that any of you wanted to hear that, but I suspect I may have caught the flu. I haven't had it in several years, but it usually feels about like this.

No energy. Nothing to take for it. I'm really quite hungry, but I had to fight to keep the last meal I had down and besides, moving would be excruciating if not for my extensive conditioning against pain. My head feels several sizes too small and every sensation is significantly amplified. I'm drinking gatorade, and I'm hoping the citric acid and sugars, and the electrolytes, will be enough to help me fight this nasty business down.

God, i hate getting sick.

I bet I know where I caught it from, too. I took mitso to several emergency care clinics hoping to get him a scrip for his meds.... and either of the clinics or the crowd at thanksgiving dinner would have been plenty enough opportunity.

So, amuse yourselves with a meme thing I ganked from somewhere while I use my mad qi-kung skills to expedite my recovery. Cheers!
