ah this way way old. we got into an argument about why jizz in the eye hurts... and we were spamming up some poor sod's pic (probably mine ;p) so i drew an on topic pic for us to continue the argument/discussion. the whole event was fairly amusing. you would have loled.

I would be freaking out if my vision was not working properly.

i had PRK done back in sept. i was pretty incapable of seeing before hand without glasses... i asked them what my vision was (ie the 20/20 classification) and they said i was 'count fingers'. LOL. but yeah it was that bad.

now i can function without glasses, and have discovered that i have toenails in the shower! but the problem is that my corneas are trying (and judging by my sight succeeding!) to scar up, causing bad cloudiness. i'm on drops to hopefully correct it, but i'll probably have to get touch up surgery.

i totally don't mind putting up with all of this as long as i can see when i'm done... but im getting REALLY frustrated. i'm a visually oriented person, so it's making my whole world upsetting. :(

Oh, I see! I am in a similar situation to what you were in, approximately -- I cannot read my watch without glasses unless it is four inches from my face -- but I am much too terrified of lasers being pointed at my eyeballs to go through with the surgery. I hope it turns out well for you! I know a few people that have done it and they seem satisfied. :3

It's funny you mention the shower thing. I remember once when I tried contacts, the weirdest thing was being able to see in the shower. That and sometimes I would try to take off glasses that were not there.

oh yeah! and the joys of not being able to find your glasses if they happened to fall off the nightstand (i blame cats). everyone i know who had the surgery had amazing results. my hubby who was almost as blind as me now has 20/15 vision. *jealous* i just have a lot going on healthwise and i think it's fubaring my eye's healing process.

i still try to push the nonexistant glasses up my nose to see better. LOL.
