Life/Surgery Update

Hello!
So Im out of work again this weekend. I have a follow up early tuesday with my surgeon to see if I can be cleared to return to work.
Financially we're gonna be on a shoestring (fishing line?) Budget but I think we are ok.
Im going to be streaming a bit more this week.
My surgical site has an infection and has opened some so that has been very... fun.
Honestly debating about going to part time at work from this point. I am really valuing the time I am able to spend with my family and the amount of art I have been able to produce, it as been nice to feel more creative. I do love my job though. In anycase.

So sorry to hear about the infection, please be sure to take that very seriously, those can go badly if not watched. I'm sorry to hear the financial issue is so tight (I did toss a few $ your way the other day in thanks for all the nice art you've shared with us all). If you can afford to go part time, you can still enjoy the work, but also get more time with family - and with art. Might be a win all around.

Agh, um... As a vet tech, do you have much expertise in wound dressing and treatment of infections?

absolutely so thats helpful, but still taking forever to heal

Best wishes for that, and I'm glad you know how to handle it and when to escalate if need be. I had similar surgery under non-emergency circumstances some years ago, so I can empathize to some extent.
