End of the Year

Don't be excited.
Did not accomplish much.
Most - if not, all - of my passion projects fell dead into the water, my more ambitious stories are dwarfed by those I barely spent an hour on from start to finish, and as I speak I fear that writing will slowly crumble into a dead hobby of mine again.
But anyway, preemptive Happy New Year.
What will you change?

FA+

the amount of brain jetsam i myself vom all over my galley(s) but so little of it is ever actually completed is a lot but idk. i personally kinda like it that way? i'm just pleased to get anything out.
also you're a great author at least in my opinion so even if there was a dry spell i always would assume you'd pick it back up. y'stuff's nice.
happy new year dude.
As for the passion projects falling before the random ideas? Oh boy, I feel that. (One of my most liked stories involved a dog and a human, something I never thought would struck up people's interest)
I don't think I can tell ya or advise ya at my level...
But don't feel bad if circumstances mess with you... You could do no error and still fail. :/
At the end of the day, you've still got a good chunk of stories to your name, and it might not feel like it now, but you will have bounce back periods.
I've got still got commitments I'm underperforming at, but that didn't stop me from having significant breakthroughs here and there this year (most of them not art-related at all), despite not putting them out there.
I think it's worth it even when you only get like, one work in a whole year you had a blast on and received love for it.
Empty platitudes, especially coming from me, but I do read your stories, and still think your writing's great. Remember that you're creating for yourself, too.
Happy new year!
