Over the Christmas break, I've come to realise I need a better work/life balance.
During the past few years I've increasingly let work take over my free time & have been feeling close to/ burning out.
With an increase in bills/ drop in interest in art; I've taken more shifts on at my other jobs, leaving little to no free time.
Therefore, this year I'm setting more strict working hours for art, and only expanding these if I'm feeling up to it.

This will mean less open commission slots/ longer working periods, but I'm hoping with being less swamped I can put more love and attention to the pieces I'm doing!
There will be a slight price increase this year to reflect the time & effort put into these pieces.

Currently the only days I am not working my other jobs are Tuesdays & Sundays.
These will be dedicated art days, I will be more available to reply to queries/notes/messages & WIPs/invoices/finished pieces will also be sent on these days.
If I get any free time/ feel up to it, I will try to respond, but around these days I can't guarantee that.

Backlog will be worked on first, easier YCHs that take less time may also be done quicker & faster commissioner responses will mean I can advance with your piece quicker.
I will be open to hear commission requests all month, but can't guarantee I can take them all.
Selected YCHs will also be left open indefinitely to give everyone the chance for some TF goodness!

TLDR; Artwork Sundays & Tuesdays, Less art, reduced stress
