I have only seen season one so I have no idea how bad it gets.

Honestly, I don't even think it's a bad show. It just amounted to nothing that I wanted, or hoped to see from the premise when I first went into it. Deviating so far from my expectations, that I couldn't find any enjoyment from it. Yet I was born a very curious person, and the story left me wanting to at least see how it would end despite that. Although if I had known how long that would take, I would've jumped ship much sooner.

Yeah I stopped watching pretty early on, and hearing about what all happens later, boy am I glad I did haha

From my experience with all the moments that the story tried to pull you in, there were definitely fewer moments when I was on the edge of my seat, and more moments when I was rolling my eyes like, "Oh my fucking god, why?" Yet it still managed to keep holding me just enough with every season to drag me back.

That, and my favorite character managed to be one of the few to actually survive to the very end. So that also probably helped.

Yup. Ending is shit. XP. Whole show really.

The ending was definitely not great. Especially with how it culminates into everything that lead up to it. Which tried to be philosophical or whatever, but I just found to be really dumb and convoluted for the sake of giving meaning where there didn't need to be any.

I remember I tried spoiling it for you to save you from it. But you insisted that you'd just wait and watch it.... WAS IT WORTH IT????

Yes, because there were enjoyable elements that could've been ruined had I known the outcome. For all the issues I had with the story, the show's action was top notch, and the final episode in particular went hard on that. Had I known the outcome in advance, that knowledge would've distracted from enjoying the fight. Especially since one of my favorite aspects of the show from start to finish was not knowing who was going to die, or when. Sure, certain characters had more plot armor than others, but even some of them eventually met their end. So the possibility that at any moment, even main characters could be killed, was probably my favorite aspect of the whole series. And I was definitely on the edge of my seat every time my favorite character in particular was in peril. Especially during that final fight, where it was unclear which side was actually going to win.

But did either side truly win, hmmmmmmmm? Nah, I'm kidding. Glad you found something you liked, Eren's personality just became a fucking cesspool of toxicity for me. XD

Which really didn't change at all. Even from the very beginning, despite his goals, he was always a selfish piece of shit. Even when wanting to rid the world of the titans, he only wanted to for the sake of fulfilling his own selfish desires, and lust for revenge. He was never even a fraction of a likeable character.

Were you interested for the vore at the beginning?

I was interested in the idea of ordinary people trying to eke out a living in the last refuge on Earth from terrorizing monsters, and then needing to do what they could to survive when their primary defense against those monsters failed. Which went to crap the moment they had a titan on their own side, and from there just kept getting dumber as the story expanded on its lore surrounding the titans, and the world as a whole.
