[General] January 2024 Update

A belated happy new year! I hope January has been kind to you!
Despite my absence here, I've been posting Daily Doodles on Tumblr, Cohost, Pillowfort, and Instagram. I'm planning on getting back to more serious art soon, but big changes to my personal life between Christmas and the new year have kept me away from it for the time being.
I'm planning on committing to the furry bit more this year, and to do more original and fan pieces this year. I'd like to possibly take a crack at some tarot related art, and I'm also looking to get into some animation related projects soon! So keep an eye out for that! I'd like to get back to some more creative writing too, but don't hold your breath. Lastly, I want to do more speedpaints! I was proud of getting a couple out last October, and I'd like to do that again.
I'd like to, at some point this year, get into simple commissions maybe, for stickers or icons or something like that. I don't have much of an audience anywhere, so chances are it'll be a while before that goes anywhere, but I'm happy with that - it's more of a long term goal for the year than anything imminent.
Finally: I'm no longer using DeviantArt or Twitter. I was never super active there, but in light of. everything, and the ever-growing list of platforms you're Supposed to be on, I'm cutting them from the list of things I am Trying to maintain. I'm also not going to be super active on Bluesky or Mastodon, because I was never big into twitter, and the twitter clones do not spark joy. Like last year, I'll be most active on Tumblr and Cohost, but I'll also be making an effort to post regularly to instagram.
