An... eventful day

CW: accident, fire, unalive
I wasn't going to talk about this because I didn't see a point and felt like rambling to the air but maybe that's what I need. And it's got me in a weird place.
This morning a tanker truck fell off a bridge and exploded. There was a massive fire and diesel spill. I drove by the area a little after it happened it smelled bad. It's been over 12 hours and the freeway is still close.
I was hoping the driver would live....but he didn't. I guess the good thing is that there weren't any cars close enough to the bridge for it to fall on.
I'm also concerned since all that diesel went right into a stream and towards a waterfall. It also spread the fire.
It was a chaotic scene and it messed with my head a little bit. It was quite near where my parents live too.
Anyway, that's about it. Just an eventful day is all. I also had lunch with my maid of honor and it was nice.
