I promised to tell you about my trip :)
I thought until the last that everything would go to shit, because it usually happens that way, so I spoke about my plans very cautiously and uncertainly. I'm actually scared to think about the road and plan my actions, but now finally I can say - it's official! I'm going to Canada!🍁
I plan to buy tickets for the second half of February and stay in Toronto for about a month.

Even last year, I received a CUAET visa, but I wasn't sure that I was going to use it. It was just in case. It gets pretty hot here sometimes, even a couple of days ago several kamikaze drones were shot down near me. All the same, we have a war started by stupid ru**ia. People die every day even when they think they are safe at home... So there should always be a backup if the orcs go even more crazy. So, I have a visa and a love for travel, but I constantly thought about what was stopping me. Far, expensive, nervous. I didn't think I would be able to do it, but recently the situation changed and I got a great opportunity.

At first, my dad had to go to Toronto for work. I got a lot of motivation and asked to take me with him. My fiance has relatives there and they agreed to host me for a while, as well as to help me prepare documents and get used to the new country a little. But unfortunately, dad's plans failed and he canceled his trip.

But it was already too late, because I got excited about the idea and agreed with relatives, found a lot of useful information and started preparing for the trip. So I didn't want to retreat.
Now I have to do everything myself. I already forgot how to solve such things. I went to Poland a year ago and it was also scary, but compared to Canada, it's like going to a neighboring city.

Now I'm thinking about my route and planning to buy a ticket.
Because of the war, our airports are closed and I will have to go to Poland again, and from there fly to Toronto. Also, I'm not sure if I'll have enough money for the trip now, I didn't expect the tickets to be so crazy expensive. And I'll be honest, I rested almost the whole month, there were many holidays, so I spent a lot. In addition, I bought a simple laptop to be able to work there (It is very difficult to write such posts from a tablet, as you know I like to talk a lot...)
I will get some help in Canada, but I have to get there first.

While I am still in Ukraine, I will actively work and make all the commissions that I can. And then I may have to delay some art a little, because bureaucratic hell awaits me in Canada and I don't know how much time I will have for anything else. I'm taking my tablet and laptop with me, so I'll be in touch and drawing whenever possible.

After the rest I have to get back to my usual rhythm, because right now it's a bit of a mess and I'm grabbing at everything. I'm still trying to finish the Valentine comic and some commissions. So I`m really sorry if replying slowly and don't show new stuff for a long time, I'm just trying to get everything together and finish all the tasks in time.

This frantic preparation should bear fruit. I would really like to see this incredible country and get to know its culture. I would also like to meet some of my watchers, maybe you could show me the city and local bars! I warn you, I want to sing Ukrainian songs in karaoke and drink a lot of beer, will you accept this challenge?! I promise small traditional drawings in your notebook, good impressions and fun time. But my spoken English is a bit crap to be honest. I hope for practice and understanding. If everything works out, I'll see you in Toronto, I'll be very happy!
