I accidentally fed my parents dog a little bit of onion. Everyones insisting she'll be fine but I am PETRIFIED I would never forgive myself if the old girl ..well...

She is a Jack Russell, chunky, so probably closer to 18 pounds. Two chunks equal to half of a small onion ring

She should be fine! Based on what I found and calculations, a toxic dose would be 2/3 cup of onion
