Hello guys, just a little update, I went to an appointment yesterday with an ophthalmologist who specializes in this area of diseases and autoimmune diseases. Well, she looked at all the tests done and couldn't say what I actually have, there are suspicions of several diseases and rare diseases, but nothing is certain... I'll have to follow up with a neurologist again, the ophthalmologist said it could be neurological and I have not yet presented other symptoms.
We're back to investigating again with more tests. I'll need to do more blood tests and a corneal tomography for now.
The doctor also said that I am being treated with corticosteroids just because of the urgency of improving the inflammation that I am having in my eyes, as if it gets worse it could be irreversible. And maybe I'll have to maintain the corticosteroids for a few months, at the moment I'm taking a high dose, 60mg prednisone daily, I believe this dose will be reduced as the weeks go by...
I just hope this all gets resolved soon
