There is a small shadow in the corner.
Pay it no mind. It does not mean harm.
The small shadow is always there.
It will not harm you. It has no capability to harm you.
It watches. Without eyes or ears, it knows. But... It will not harm you.
The small shadow is not your friend, nor your foe, it just exists.
When the time comes, it will not speak of your secrets.
It knows every secret, every dark whisper, every silent confession.
But it will not harm you. It is just a small, quiet, little shadow.
It is silently watching. It will not hurt you. It never has and desires to harm. Just... Watch.
The silent little shadow in the corner. Perhaps. It wants just a friend to feed it more information...
Then maybe, just maybe... It will not be silent anymore...

Forbidden knowledge, that which we refuse to understand due to taboo or distaste, comes with responsibility to keep it hidden away. Sharing it with another may result in that one hiding away... Or them revealing the forbidden knowledge and getting ousted for doing so, either by friends, or by a community, or by that very friend they got the information from.
It's a dangerous act to share that which is shunned... But in what culture is it shunned in... In one place you could get ousted for wanting an egg boiled in little boy's urine, while in another, it's common place to have it served to you. It's really weird how taboos work in humanity, what is considered forbidden or cognitohazards in general...
Sorry, rambling... 'w'! Sometimes a little shadow just wants someone to whisper the weird things it knows to... We may forget what it said, or it may dwell on us...
