Is this a Scam?
I recently got a message form someone on Discord
hey uhm I encountered a situation on Discord where someone with a very similar name to your profile attempted to deceive me. Instead of reporting the deceptive user, I mistakenly reported your account. I'm really sorry it was all an accident i didn't mean it.
this is what discord emailed me that's why i'm worried so i reach you out right away to inform you what happen

So is this a scam?
The scam ends up with you supposedly contacting discord support, and clicking a link or sending over your login info, which is taken. Best just to ignore, block and report, and inform the person if you know them away from discord.

These jerks have been doing it on Steam and even Telegram too. It's been going on for years now sadly.
