Two (10) full years of 🇷🇺war🇺🇦
Yep two = 10, 'cause that's two in binary, uh, and also coincidently how many years it has been since Russia invaded/annexed Crimea in decimal.
It has now been two years since I woke up on the morning of February 24, 2022 and checked FA before I even looked at the news and saw several Journals by artists in Ukraine saying something like, "OMG we are being bombed!" I've been busy ever since trying to do what I can.
Here are some recent news articles about the war (uh, that's "special military operation" for all of the Russians who are watching me or somehow find this Journal):
[CNN did live updates on the Ukraine War daily up to 10/6/23, since then they've been erratic and infrequent, CNN didn't have live updates on 2/17/24 or 2/18/24, I think, but there have been a few lately]

-- a total of more than 14 million people – nearly one-third of Ukraine’s population – fled their homes at some point during the war,
-- nearly 6.5 million people are now living outside the country as refugees
-- an estimated 3.7 million people are still displaced within Ukraine
-- more than 4.5 million people returned home, from either abroad or displacement within the country
The UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine said it been able to corroborate the conflict-related deaths of 10,582 civilians since February 2022. (those are only the ones that can be verified/corroborated, the true civilian death toll is likely much higher, “The actual numbers are likely significantly higher,”)

Many Ukrainian FA members and artists made FA Journals about their experiences during and after the Russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine on 24-February-2022
I made a list of links here: https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/10810409/ , please consider reading a few of them.

Thank you for all that you do, for raising their voices, chronicling the events and histories, and spreading the truth.
The territory already devastated by russians is quite close to the entire area of most of your countries.
Number of people who lost their future thanks to russians, is larger than your entire nations.
Imagine your whole homeland being completely erased from existence. Would you like that to come true?
It still can.
WAKE UP.
I find it worrying that the Kremlin has been "setting informational conditions" (politically posturing and propagandizing) to try to justify potential future action against Finland, the Baltic countries, and Moldova.
Well that's what happens when everyone ignores nazis, again.
