I've had confirmed Covid before. And I suspect that I've had it five times.
In all honesty, I had way worse things when I was just a kid. Fevers. Severe cold and flu symptoms. Trips to the ER.
But this Covid thing? Kicked its stupid A$$ with DayQuil, Vitamin C and Elderberry.
May you recover quickly and ponder if your natural immunity can overcome this modern day boogeyman of a scare.

I bet Covid last week, though I still want to go to some concerts in my local city. I do know where I got Covid from which was from a McDonald's in my local city as the person kept pulling down their face mask to call the order numbers

I feel that as a species, we are going to be dealing with Covid for a long, long time.
Granted, our world is in a very strange place. Government plans to house the homeless, combining with driving taxes in major cities. Robots like out of some sci-fi movie, coming to take all the jobs. Yet, government plans to put everyone on some kind of universal basic income while trying to cap the out of control rent prices. Potential wars involving the US of A. And this Covid thing was like an accelerator as apart of all this. So, who knows. I'm not sure what to think about the next twelve months. Never mind the next ten years. Maybe Covid won't be a long term thing under the right conditions. I'm just not going to place any bets that science will come up with a miracle cure. Maybe hedging towards one where many people won't have as much money to travel with... possibly. Future predicting is such a hazy ordeal, after all.

true on everything, though in Australia it's just you get COVID-19 you isolate for 7 days take medication, and hope for the best that it doesn't go past the 7 days you're isolated for. I still get the cold but I do have three conventions coming up that I'm volunteering at so hopefully I don't get Covid again from any of them
