Turned 39 years old today...
a year ago
...and I feel OLD... and a bit worn down by all the crap that has happened so far this year.
Just one week ago, I lost one of my few Swedish friends that I have left. :( It is heartbreaking to me, as she was an assistant teacher at two elementary schools that I attended during my younger years and I have had regular contact with her for over 30 years by now. At least her family was there with her when she passed away, so... she wasn't alone. But I failed to visit her one last time before her time was up.
Under normal circumstances I would say this whole year is a bust, if it hadn't its good moments, like Palworld and Helldivers 2, but they are hardly a comfort to losing a great friend that I know for over 30 years and had regular contact with to boot.
I just pray this year gets better, but something tells me that it is just gonna get worse.

I hope you find strength in this time and make it to the happier days, remember your old friends, make new ones, and hang in there.
And I try to find strength, but trust me, it isn't easy. Nevertheless, I do my best to go on, even amidst adversity.
