Thoughts - 03/06/2024 Update

So, howdy y'all! Just wanted to give a quick update.
I've not been happy with the way the Hollin Arensen stories are turning out lately. Don't get me wrong, I know I've got some fans out there, and I love that! But, it's just not really telling the story I want to tell.
I think it's because this is really a novel, and not a series of short stories like Axel and Isaac are. I just need more real estate to explain things, describe places and people, and just generally spread out. To that end, I am going to be making a change to the Hollin Arensen stories.
Instead of a new short story every other week, I'll be posting a new chapter instead. The change might not be noticeable to you all, but it'll make a huge difference to me. I will also, at some point, be compiling and re-releasing the first three Hollin updates together as a set, to combine them into a cohesive narrative. My plan is to do that before I release the fourth update, but I'm juggling a lot of balls here between Axel & Isaac, Hollin, and my other novel project. I don't want to have to go on hiatus again to fix this, but I may need to temporarily go down to posting new content every other week for a bit until I can get Hollin in a place I'm happy with again. It's early enough in his project that I don't feel too bad doing that. I'll let y'all know if that happens, and I'll tell everyone in advance as well.
TLDR: I'm making the Hollin Arensen stories into a novel, that I will continue to post for free one chapter at a time. Content may drop to every other week temporarily, but that's not set in stone yet.
Thanks for all y'all's continued support as I figure out this whole "being a writer" business! It's crazy how much this has grown since I started writing back in September 2023, and I'm so thankful for all my watchers, commentors, and everyone who just stops by to read my stories. You guys, gals, theys and thems make doing this so much fun, and I really want to show you what I can do. I appreciate how patient you've been, and how kind you all are to me and to each other in the comments.

Fair enough. It seems like a big endeavor. I'm sure you'll find what works best for you. Do you know what you'll be posting in the meantime, until that's straightened out?

Yeah! Axel and Isaac work well as a short story series, and I also might explore Nate, David, and Asher some more. But definitely Axel and Isaac, they're my favorites and they're not going anywhere.

Both lovely ideas! I'm excited to see what they're all up to; Axel and Isaac now that they're safe together and the NDA trio now that they're official.
