It kind of is, most of the time. It is one of the 2 backup browsers I use when my main one is allergic to some modern webpage (I always blame Google).

Sounds like a cache issue.

It is most likely on your end, try clearing your browser history, cache, and cookies.

Thanks, though now I have to ask, how do I do any of that? Its a Mac using chrome.

If the Mac version of chrome is the same as the windows version, on the far right side of the browser screen there should be 3 vertical dots, click on that , then click on settings. In your settings menu look for privacy and security and click on that. On that page there is a menu item called "clear browsing data" when you click on that it will open a window and on the basic tab you can select checkboxes to set what data is cleared. However be aware that you will need to sign into all of your common websites again.

Did you install any privacy extensions on your browser? Like NoScript, PrivacyBadger, Ghostery or uBlock Origin? Those are useful, but sometimes a fat finger forkup or two can do bad things.

Are you using Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Opera or Brave? Each has it's quirks, and some of them can be more "protective" than others.

Are you using MacOS and/or Safari? Apple has been getting..."squirrely"...about how their products handle stuff that's NSFW. Sometimes they roll something out, then pull it back when too many people yell at them.

Uhm. I wonder if Apple is forcing me for an upgrade. About the time my access to FA got bad, I got reminders that I "need" an OS upgrade.

Check your settings and make sure it permits loading of images from secondary sites.

No, the browser might be not permitting images from d.furaffinity to load, hence the second link is the direct link to the image, if that works then there's a security issue with the browser.

In which case a walking through all the settings and seeing if there is a quirkly looking one about mixed content that needs to be allowed.

I'm stymied, so tried logging in via my firefox brower and no problem.
