Yeah, I don't know where to start. I have this weird backlog of stuff ranging from very overdue, to borderline taking advantage of friends. The last two years have punched me in the gut. My hours at the day job continue to be cut shorter and shorter and we are in a state of desperate debt as a result. It's very scary, and the world is hard to take some days. To boot, I've developed a very severe case of presbyopia which has mauled my ability to do art comfortably. For the uninitiated, that's when a nearsighted person can't see up close while wearing corrective lenses. For obvious reasons, that makes it hard to read, draw, etc. I can correct my near vision or far, but not both. I drive a car at the day job, so I value my far vision for obvious reasons. Normally the solutions to this are simple; reading glasses or bifocals. However, I have astigmatism so bad that correcting for the presbyopia is actually making my astigmatism worse, or even giving me nausea. If that weren't bad enough, I have had my vision corrected to 20/10 by contacts for almost thirty years, so losing that has been devastating.

Look I know folks who have lost their hands, can only see a stamp sized spot because of various deteriorations, or even gone blind. It's not an excuse, but we all have our own journey and this really affected me. I'm beginning to see a light at the end of the tunnel. I'm trying out something called monovision (you correct each eye at different distances) and it is working well for drawing (and terrible for my far sight). I'm trying to move on from my job of 20 years. The ship will right itself.

Comms won't be in order. There are still a couple of Kinktobers left, for instance, that will eventually be uploaded. I can fix that by slapping them all in a folder eventually.
