oh heck. dont know how it feels for a tooth to break in half, but i do know what it feels like to have a cavity so wide you can actively feel the hole with your tongue. i did have it removed thru conscious sedation, only took an hour apparently
Normally, it would be painful, as your nerves would start to become almost exposed which means too much sensitivity, but again, no pain on my end even though the tooth broke vertically~
i'm sure it wont take more than an hour. when i had mine removed, the dentist said it looked as though the nerves had already disconnected from the tooth, so it may be the same for you
you just need to make sure the dentist you decide to use will utilize either conscious sedation, or anesthesia. i nearly went with a dentist that would have kept me awake. i didnt want that, so im lucky it got changed when it did. once its removed, make sure to gargle every night with warm salt water before putting in a fresh piece of gauze
Shit, that happened to a relative not too long ago. Got drunk and woke up with both her front teeth half missing. Thankfully it is repairable, but not pleasant. Good luck with the follow-up root canal if you end up having one :(
Glad to hear they're alright!
I expected to be in the world of pain!... but... no pain... huh... Doctor gave me very strong medicine to numb the pain because they expected me to be in pain but, nothing,
Tomorrow I will be with a specialist and they will see what's up~
Hope you’ll be alright
