Hello, I came home to Ukraine for a month and I feel very good here.
Yes, there is a war in the country, but I am glad to see my hometown

A war could start at any given time. xD
And if that wasn't enough, I've reached the age where I'm conscripted into the military.
And on Border Guard nonetheless! xD
Hopefully my arrogant country doesn't piss any other country off in the 8 months that I have left before my serving time is over. xD
The number of people who actually know how to use guns in our stations are VERY low. xD
And half the soldiers are suicidal, High chance if there was an invasion, We'd die instantly. xD
It's Iran, After all, "Proficiency" isn't in their vocabulary. xD

I live in a peaceful country, where the most dangerous you could find it's an occasional mugging or a distracted driver... Nevertheless lots of times (even before the pandemic) I take a stroll and think "I'm grateful that I can just walk, without worries of being shoot down, bask in the sun without worrying about finding unexpected threats, like a bomb falling on me, or being poisoned by radiation, or breath perfectly ok air"
Often I keep thinking about my environment, which might seem dull and boring, but then I compare it to the hardships others need to endure and realize how bleesed I am to just... don't have to worry about these things.

Glad to hear you're doing and feeling(relatively due to the war) well.
As for how I'm feeling? Tomorrow I have an every-other-week therapy session, and we talk about my job a lot, especially lately.
