I would add in more playable pokemon, I think it would make the game more interesting and more that way ^w^

Definitely want to add an Arcanine, maybe some of the heroes of the GBA game series Golden Sun and its sequel

Instead of just adding a ton more Pokemon to Smash, I think a dedicated Pokemon Smash game would actually be really cool.

Even if it sounds dumb: CJ, his stage would be a train or plane traveling all around San Andreas

I was beginning to think I was the only one who wanted Spyro in there.

Wouldn't care about if there was Shadow the Hedgehog, Po from Kung Fu Panda, or maybe some Rivals of Aether 2 characters to be in smash bros game. Yeh it probably won't happen to me in mind but it was just my imagination.

Also it would be nice if there was two versions of adventure mode, one a melee version of adventure mode, and other one is a story mode like the one from brawl.

Some kind of Adventure modes, both from Melee and Brawl would be nice to have.

First thing I would do would be to add a rep from Rhythm Heaven, maybe have the special attacks do more damage if on the beat of the song playing

I personally dislike character cuts, so even though I think FE is a bit oversaturated, I wouldn't want to see them removed, especially not all of them. But I would not be upset in the least if they didn't add anymore FE characters to the franchise.

As far as new additions, Spyro is definitely one I'd love to see! We only have a couple quadruped fighters too, so that's a pretty big untapped market. Bomberman was one of the characters I was championing as well. I've never gotten to play a Sly Cooper game but I would definitely take him. I bet he'd be really fun to use. Personally, I'm still on the Waluigi train. I really want to see him as a playable character, just to see what Sakurai would come up with. Seeing Alucard shift from assist trophy to playable character would be amazing, as he's my favorite Castlevania character along with Richter. Also now that we got a Mario RPG remaster, I think it's time for Geno to finally be playable after getting shafted like three times. Finally, I really, really want Boshi as an echo fighter for Yoshi.

Apart from characters, I'd also fix the online. Rollback net code and go back to For Fun/For Glory split. Ultimate's online mode is HORRIBLE when trying to play with random people.

Oh yeah, Geno could possibly be added now.

And yeah, I also hate the online in Ultimate. Smash 4 had way better online modes.

The online is so bad, it's such a shame. I spent sooo many hours playing online in Smash 4, but in Ultimate I've barely touched it because I just want to play 4 player, timed, free for all matches and I keep ending up in 1v1, stock and team matches.

Oh, that's just like me with Smash 4. I loved playing 4 player free for all.
Another thing I miss from Smash 4 is, being able to play as Charizard without the other Pokemon attached to him. And now I don't play with him again, just like in Brawl.

It was a lot of fun, that's for sure. I didn't have many friends who wanted to play with me, but I'd still spend hours playing with random people online. Can't really do that in Ultimate though because of always ending up in matches I don't want and then having the game actually ban me from online play because someone in my game had a very laggy connection and I was forced to close the game to escape.

Same here, Charizard was one of my mains but I don't really use him now because of that. I miss that Rock Smash attack.

Yeah, the roster honestly has way too many fire emblem characters. Their move sets are very unoriginal from one another. Plus, there's plenty of sword fighters on the roster.

Yeah, there are plenty of other sword fighters. That's why I feel like it would be fine to remove all the Fire Emblem characters.

i wouldn't remove anyone from the roster, because there would be an absolute hellfire online arguement because of it. if all fire emblem gets removed, then people will petition pokemon to be removed, then they'd want to go about targetting echo fighters untill we get to a point where each franchise has ONE character each. One mario, one pokemon, one FE, one Earthbound, one kirby, etc

That is an interesting point. But I don't really see that happening.

it is unlikely... i just know people who are like that though. aside from that, i'd feel bad if the only way i can get a character i wanted in the game is to get rid of a character someone else wanted in the game.

I'm still happy enough we got sonic, megaman, pacman and steve. I'd probably only wanted to add one character at this point and that'd be Crash Bandicoot

Oooo, I love the Gex idea! And Spyro in there would be a dream come true. Those characters would make my scalie heart explode.

The other thing I'd do is get the fighting mechanics back to that of Melee, or something close with the higher speed and technicality. But, yeah, it's rather hopeless at this point, as Nintendo doesn't support Melee or its gameplay to include a wider pool of gamers of all skill levels.

I will never understand Melee players obsession with that game. Melee is the one Smash game I liked the least. It never felt that good to me.
I think Rivals of Aether had Melee stuff though? So they have that at least.

But yeah, I would love more reptiles in the game. I am so happy King K. Rool got in. I play with him a lot.
