Its definitely something that I used to think was weird and kinda freaky, but as time went on and I started seeing different themes and things with how varied possession can go, it's definitely pushed up to a big interest for me.

Like there's so many ways you can 'possess' someone than just possessing them if you get me, it can be so varied and interesting to see the many sub-branches you can go down with a possession theme.

Well it was more so a combination of things, rather than a specific piece, but a lot of NokuCroc's possession art really started to turn me on to the general idea that possession is a very fun/hot theme.

Although I can't lie, him using Magic as a suit and wearing 'me' essentially is something I was a very big fan of ( ex: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/46991206/ )

He does a lot a possession themes, and it's really enjoyable to see just how varied the kink/theme is from his works.

However another pinpoint change of heart for me personally was playing a Shadow Priest in WoW and getting invested into the void-theming in the Battle for Azeroth expansion, the power fantasy of possession & mind control really hit it off for me around that time.

Not a fan myself, not much of an issue when it's more playful and not some total assimilation kinda deal. Kinks have come a long way in becoming more and more the norm, there's much worse things out there that I need not even mention, since you've definitely seen it. I just don't bother voicing my opinion cause it's just that, my own opinion, and artists are totally free to draw whatever it is they please. If any artist goes too far or leans into posting way too much of something I don't like, I just quietly move on and that's all there is to it.

Possession will always have a special place for me cause of how varied you can do stuff with it and it is just so much fun to write about. It can be a little hardcore at times but it quickly became one of my favorites. Gotta get an update to Leoston some time hehe

Off the top my head in my early write years I touched the topic of possession a few times (mostly while I was writing TF stuff) yet it was fun when you can pair it with things. Corruption was a huge influence to it since it warped one’s thoughts and let all the melding push over into something for the new host. Amusingly one of the notable possessions I remember was I think from your character group (the demonic dragon genie I believe? Had one pic that had a possession doll). I can see it more as another venue to delve back in. Goo is a strong medium for assimilation but if you really think on it, I can currently see a fun gig with like corruptive manipulation through desires being a setup for possession. Maybe involve a gemstone or an enchanting collar.

Really really big fan of possessions/takeovers in general and comics/sequences are probably my favorite way to view them

I've loved possession for the longest time. I remember it being scarce and it still kinda is, but its slowly becoming a more common theme/kink. I think the kink mostly revolves around giving up control to someone else in my opinion. And I'd love nothing more than to get a couple page comic strip done of my fursona getting possessed by a Ghost or Demon. Who then uses his body to have a train ran on him in the back alley of a dirty dive bar or a Sketchy Sex Dungeon.

I have not dealt much into this particular kink myself, usually because I've seen most examples of it being non-consensual and that just urks me, even if the owner of the oc being possessed is into that. No kink-shaming though from my end, people can like what they like.

But if it's a consensual possession, that would be another story altogether. I'd probably be interested in it.

I looooove possession. Ways to spice it up that I always thing about is ways of entry for how the possession is done and how well someone is teased before being possessed.

Love it especially when it is by a creature much different than that person being possessed. The fact of losing control bit by bit and seeing body parts move without permission.

Possession as a kink is a really fun one because it can really only be done in roleplay or fantasy so it's almost complete divorced from reality. But that's what makes it such a fun thing to play around with and conceptualize. Whether it's consciousness subsummation where the host is still there but trapped inside or consciousness transfer where the host consciousness is thrust somewhere else. There are so many different ways to play around with possession haha.

Whether it's consensual or non-consensual possession fulfills a fantasy of your mind and body no longer connecting which can be seen as the person still acting on themselves or the possessor acting on the possessed. I like how that means it can either be a self kink or a partner kink.

As for things to do to spice up a possession... supernatural possessions from ghost, demons, etc seem to be your bread and butter so maybe try playing around with different possessors, possibly ones that don't naturally play into the spiritual forms of possession!~

Also, definitely keep possessing hunky dragons haha~

I enjoy possession as a theme/kink very much! I've had a kink for transformation related themes for a long time and possession crosses over with that sometimes.

I remember you ramped up my enjoyment of it when I found your page in late 2017 (back when I was a background lurker who didn't talk to anyone lol).

As for how to do things with possession going forward, I'm pretty open to any sort of format. Be it comics or short sequences or something else.

As for how to shake things up, maybe have a sequence or comic that focuses on the changes that one's body goes through when Winston possesses them? Have him possess a human or some other species of character and show them gradually transform into Winston. IIRC, I think you said at one time that eventually happens to his hosts if they're merged long enough (unless I'm mistaken).

Anyway, that's my two cents on the matter. Possess to your heart's content, friend! We're all better as you anyway. 😉
