Idea for a comic project

I'm thinking of doing a silly sprite comic series...specifically, being a fanmade prequel to "Mega Man X1", which made it's original release on the SNES!
In this sillier take on a comic, (being quite funny in many cases) I intend to bring more depth to character building, within the "mavericks" of "Mega Man X1"....even focusing on BEFORE they went "maverick"...with plenty of silliness, to go with it.
P.S.; characters from the classic series WILL appear in it! (No spoilers, from here.)
