I totally thought I had another week too.

I also apparently lost my old menorah.

I had to buy one at bed bath and beyond >_<!!!

Yeah, I don't even have THAT.

I probably should start shopping at amazon.com more often. I mean, for instance, I was able to purchase 2 out of 3 textbooks this semester at my local community college for much less than what I would have paid for at the college's bookstore.

Maybe I should give amazon a try for shopping for gifts this year as well...

I've really been a fan the past 2 years or so, their prices are really good - especially the shops that use amazon as their shopfront. They're cheaper than amazon itself.

I wanted to hear some of the cool Hanukkah music on Sirius, as all I have ever heard is the traditional Christmas stuff....and I must say you poor jewish folks are getting screwed on Hanukkah Carols.

This is some of the lamest, poorly produced crap I have ever heard. Now and again something cool comes along, usually sung in Hebrew, and it was cool to learn what the different candles on the Menorah stand for.

When I was a kid we had jewish neighbors, Mr. and Mrs. Goldberg, who had escaped from Auschwitz together. I was unfortunately too young to really understand what they taught me at the time, but they were great folks. I sort of doubt they would like this music they play on the radio...

If you get the chance, please listen to it. I'd like the thoughts on it from an orthodox person on whether my taste is different, or the stuff they are playing is really that sucky.
