Sorry. It just didn't make me happy anymore

There's nothing wrong with taking a break and giving yourself a breather. I hope its not permanent though! I had a few periods of considering dropping everything, trying to get away from all this, being disgusted with myself and thinking there was something genuinely wrong with me. Sometimes it had things to do with online interactions, I felt ignored, unnoticed, and unappreciated.

I came back not because I felt trapped in a corner but because I realized it didn't have to define me. That's just my experience though. I like to tell myself that everyday is a day to be better than the day before, and even if you fail it just makes tomorrow a little easier. There's nothing wrong with the feelings you have and its just a part of whatever journey you take. If this is really unfulfilling for you now I hope you can come back at a later date with new skills or a new mindset and find a way to recapture the enjoyment you had before. And even if you can't then whatever endeavor you take in the future is probably a better place with you in it.

I'll end my long and laborious comment with saying that there is a place for you in this community and you deserve to have your art recognized. It doesn't matter if you think your art lacks skill or goes unnoticed or is even somehow looked down upon. I want to see you draw more.
