That's a bit strange. Patreon has specific amenities for 18+ creators so as long as your campaigns are marked adult/18+, you should be good.

I have been thinking about doing the same, as I know adult creators outside furry that have been effected and why/how is so very vague. Internet loves porn but also loves to hate those that make it. >:|

The public loves porn, corporations love money and porn is very hard to make money off of.

Porn is very easy to make money off of, the difficulty is that the higher-ups running the systems where money changes hands (banks, credit exchanges, etc.) trend puritanical and make it hard for adult industries to do business. If you can't (virtually) swipe a credit card because all the major companies and banks won't do business with you, it gets hard to keep the lights on. See Tumblr banning porn, etc. for how this plays out when companies get big enough to need venture capital.

Correction: Porn is hard to make bundles of money off of *via advertisers* (and people who cancel and chargeback 'cuz they got shamed/caught enjoying it)

I'm not very large on Patreon but it's a decent bit of pocket change for me, and I've been watching the developments with concern as well. Hopefully we're able to stay in business, best of luck to you since it's more of your income. :/

Patreon has been horrible to their creators lately. I eventually moved on and its been hard (i moved to a place for writers and its been a big blow) i hope things are smooth for you if you are forced to transition
