speaking from mild experience IRL, I had death threats from a real life co-worker (at a garbage service) who sent us death threats in maryland US. He lived there of course. He proceeded to also DRIVE BY OUR HOUSE WHILE TEXTING said threats to us.

Restraining order was toothless, police said they couldn't do anything unless he actively "tried" something. And then they fucking left :"D. We dealt with him another 2 months before my husband finally got a new job. As for the actual taking commissions part, I doubt many of the smaller artists will know who Blitz is, since the internet is so dang big. Restraining orders are not just for the police to intervene, but should something happen to the individual if they show up its also protection against the law coming after you. even if the cops do nothing jurisdictions in many countries take "stalking, harassing, grooming etc." as a reasonable enough justificiation for someone to take the law into their own hands should they escalate first.

as for the commisions part it really is as easy as "Stop listening and believing people! Trust but Verify before anything else!"

well, the sad thing about the whole thing is that retraining orders do not help much against the kind of people you need a retraining order for.

Like that it's just like 1-5% of men who do sexual harassment, but 90% of women experience sexual harassment from those same 1-5% of people.

This isn't even a case of it being 'free' or not. They're using someone's main persona against their will over and over, probably because they know it annoys them, and somehow keep getting people to draw it, probably because of the money being offered. People need to be sure everyone involved is ok with the things they're drawing before drawing it. This artist is well enough known by now that someone being commissioned for this should be checking in before doing the artwork.
