You let that cretin hold the airsoft in range of your laptop? Well, can't say I wouldn't have seen that coming. Anywho, I know some places that might be able to fix the laptop cheap. Unless the LCD display itself is cracked, all you really need is a new covering for it. If it IS cracked....there's other options I can discuss with you about it

I hope I don't seem like I'm intruding, but this is the first I've heard of your brother (course I just recently watched you). How old is your brother, exactly, and how old are you? If the age differences enough that you are a legal adult, you actually can make him, via your parents, pay for it. You might have bought the bb gun, but depending on your state laws (which I would look up) it's illegal to fire a BB gun within state limits. It's actually a federal crime. One of the guys I work with has that on his record, and actually earned him some jail time.

You could very easily have him arrested and or made to pay restitution by the law. If he's not a legal adult, that would force your parents to have to pay for a new one. Course this would make your parents a bit pissy, but it would get your laptop fixed/replaced :P

Ok, that changes things up. You can either have the whole 'compensation' thing or try to have it settled in a small claims court. Again though, parents might be pissed, but in the eyes of the law, he shouldn't have been pointing that bb gun in your general direction anyway.
