Only $200 a month for those that qualify for the CDTC at the worst level of impairment.

Only 600,000 are going to be eligible and its not significant at all. This is less than 14% of the population that lives on government disability benefits of less than 1300 a month. (poverty line is ~2500CAD a month.)
What a waste of money for such a small group... You are better off adding it to the CDTC grant than another lie item.
I of course will not be getting it as I said it would be. But at least in Ontario tax credits are exempt assets from deductible assets for those who can get it.
Its also meant to "supplement" and not replace the disability benefits given by the provincial social assistance / welfare systems. (This could anger some provinces; like Ontario: who have claimed in the past that they cant afford to properly feed their disabled--without federal "uploading" ...and not just kids.)
There is enough votes now to defeat the current minority government--if the Liberals choose to make this budget a non-confidence motion
If there is a government change, the autism policy mandate and 'CDB' are likely to go away. But so will the 'babyfur' ban and a few other things.
At this point I think it would be of more benefit tbh. Even with a 'trump wannabe' in Polivere crossed with Singh / Trudeau.
...If only for a few months before another election again! ...Lol!
