A Medical Emergency...

I do not wish to get into much detail but, I have been at a loss of words and so so worried for three days now, so please excuse my inactivity this coming week.I received a call from a tearful family member, urging me to come home immediately regarding my mother. She is in the ER and is due for an invasive, delicate surgery that has my stomach cold just from seeing pictures. I have been going through all of the emotions this weekend as I scramble to scrape up money and get a plane ticket for Monday (wish I hadn't bought some art awhile back but too late now...). I had to quit my job, pack for at least a month, have someone watch my cat, etc. I'm absolutely worried, but she seems in good spirits even if fatigued.Some days I want distraction, some days I may be absent. So if you notice me interacting in a different timezone I will be going from CET to EST for now. I really hope I can get a part-time job in the meantime so I can focus on helping her heal.All I request from you starshines is to find someone you cherish and be sure to hold them close. Appreciate the little things that act as colorful sprinkles in your life, enjoy all that you can. Thank you all so much for all the support whether its merely watching, messaging me or commenting on my collection. It really feels great to hear from you.
