Also, I started to realize, if Oliver is a hybrid Oshawott (who's a pure Water-type) and Zangoose (a pure Normal-type). Is him a Water/Normal- or Normal/Water-type? It's like one of most unique type combos also, since only Bibarell is a known Normal/Water-type by far. (This comment might get outtaded because... who knows what L-ZA might bring us, and even the generations after IX?)

So, basically, he as a Oshawott and Dewott as Water/Normal and then evolves with a Hissuian Samurott characteristics and typing (Water/Dark)? It's getting a little confusing to me. Or he is already a Water/Dark?

His grandfather is a hisuian dewott (in my canon all 3 evos have hisuian form characteristics instead of just Samurott). This passed down a bit to Oliver's dad, and Oliver gets it too. So yes he is Water/Dark >w<
