Updates on Moving and in General

Sadly, it looks like I'm going to be moving again. I've been in the market for a roommate, but with things as they are, they would be paying pretty much all the expenses of the household until I can find a secure position, and since the reason they would likely be looking for roommate is to cut costs, that wouldn't really work out.
More then likely I'll be back with my folks. That's not an attractive prospect, and it would involve putting nearly all of my possessions into storage for a while, but at least I have family to go to, which means a place to sleep, eat and be relatively comfortable until this mess can get sorted out.
More importantly, I need to get out of this system for a while. Working temp jobs is good, but it doesn't pay very well, nor is is very reliable. I have unpaid bills stacking up and have only been able to keep a lot of disconnects at bay through the help and generosity of friends (you all have my thanks), but for this whole year I've been steadily sliding into a hole, and without decent pay and a steady job, it's impossible to dig back out. So by taking myself out of the system for a while, I can spend all my money in paying off debts rather then simply taking the top off the old ones.
It's pretty sucky, especially with how sucky things have already been, but there's nothing else for it really, and in the end, it's probably for the best. It lets me clean the slate so to speak and get a fresher start.
I might even forgo looking for work and instead look into getting a degree. It's not something I could afford while working, but if I were at home, I wouldn't have to worry about rent, electric, cable, etc and could concentrate solely on school. But even then, I have to be careful since some of the schools here cost $70,000 for a four year, and that's out of my range even without any other expenses.
Aside from that, things here have been fluctuating the way they have been all year. The local Furs have been tremendously supportive and helpful in ways that I don't think even they realize, which offsets some of the negative things that have sprung up from time to time. Because even at the risk of being over-dramatic, my life kind of sucks right now. That's not to say I have it worse then others (the Lord knows, I have it better then a lot of other people), but just that I've been pretty down on luck lately and it takes a toll.
And keeping with my new tradition, I'll leave you all with some music tracks that I've been rocking out too quite a bit lately:
First up is a Sonic 2 remix that I was shown on OCremix.org. It's a really classy tune that I've been playing over and over for the last week or so. It's a real it:

And here's a song from the TV cult classic "The Prisoner" that I fell in love with the first time I heard it on the show. At the time, all I had was a duel-cassette deck, so I ran AV from the TV to the deck and straight recorded the audio from the episode onto tape, then used the other deck to mix the dialogue out and splice it together as best I could. Years later, I finally discover that the complete soundtrack to "The Prisoner" was released and included that very song.
I've had it on repeat ever since.

Enjoy, and have yourself a wonderful holiday season!

Hope you can get your affairs in order, DOPR. Looks like we're slowly eeking out of the recession, so maybe you can have some opportunities in the near future.
