Burnout

Burnout has struck me very hard this year. My enthusiasm for creative output is virtually non-existent. Too many hours working and I have little energy left for creative pursuits in between. It's really bad this time around. I'm working on it. Mostly been distracting myself with shows, streams, and occasionally VRChat. You might find me doing that from time to time.

I haven't died or anything but creativity is really hard right now, I'm sorry to say. I will come around eventually, I hope. Bear with me.

Burnout can be brutal and difficult to recover from. Take all the time you need until you feel better.

Understandable. Just make sure you don't rush back into things or the burnout might feel worse.

I often consider lack of time with myself a worse thing than lack of finances.

Burnout is very familiar to me. But often an unexpected pleasant event helps, or if someone pleases you, the desire to do your hobby can come back in a big way, even if it only lasts for a short time.
