I also really like the Lego Movie, also has Will Ferrel. Aside from the Unikitty brainrot, it's actually a really good movie, but I assume a bunch of people have seen it. Morgan Freeman was great in it too.
Also, The Lion King, not the rebreak, but the original. Loved it ever since I was little.
A Silent Voice - this anime film is beautiful and must be experienced
Beauty and the Beast: my favourite Disney movie
Bolt: my comfort film for when I have little feels or just want to feel better
Bridge of Spies: the best political thriller of the modern era outside of "Captain America: The Winter Soldier"
Captain Phillips - heart-stopping thriller from the moment the action begins
Crimson Tide - an excellent thriller with amazing performances by both Denzel Washingston & Gene Hackman
The Guns of Navarone - a three hour war epic filled with superb acting and a compelling story set in WW2 during the Nazi occupation of Greece
Hacksaw Ridge - gritty, realistic war film based on the real story of Private Desmond Doss
John Wick - one of the best action films ever made; it is absolutely brilliant
Lady and the Tramp II: Scamp's Adventure: this was my favourite movie growing up and still holds a special place in my heart
The Last Samurai - Tom Cruise's best performance by a mile; this film is incredible from start to finish
Logan: compelling, gritty, violent... the best superhero movie featuring a Marvel character
Lord of the Rings [extended trilogy]: the epitome of cinematic movie experiences and it will never be topped again
Mission: Impossible - the entire series is brilliant and well-executed, especially the most recent films
Puss in Boots: The Last Wish - everything about this movie cements it as a modern classic already
Remember the Titans - the best sports film ever in my opinion; it will always be a triumph in my mind
Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith - this movie was the definition of epic when I was younger; it still is epic and it is my favourite of the trilogy
The Prince of Egypt - this animated movie is a breathtaking masterpiece; the cast is all-star
The Sound of Music - this movie is superb through and through; yes, it's a musical and the greatest one ever made
Top Gun & Top Gun: Maverick - the best aviation love films ever made
Unstoppable - suspenseful thriller based on a true story about a runaway train; Denzel Washington and Chris Pine are outstanding in these roles
Wolf Children - I have yet to watch more anime films but this is by far my favourite of them
Aside from it having a great soundtrack, memorable characters, a distinct style and an iconic dynamic in the form of Marty, Doc Brown and the DeLorean, it has a well-written plot with both comedy and heart. To me that's quite an accomplishment as the story involves time travel, which more often than not breaks the writing.
