I am so sorry that you have been stuck in this summer heat! What a mess. Do you have any friends nearby who have a generator to share?

My sister borrowed a gas generator but it is only powering fridge and a few other things.

Oh gotcha gotcha. Makes sense. Most of us here don't have generators or only have small ones. It's good that the food in the fridge is safe. ^^

Yes. At night I put what little food is left in coolers with ice.

I'm sure you'll get relief soon, could be because of the tornados, they are spread super thin and trying to help a whole lot more people, so all I can say is be patient, but I feel you, if you happen to remember that huge global power outage we had quite a few years ago, that shit lasted almost a week if I remember correctly, but you got this, power will be back on before you know it, I always leave one light switch on, that will be my signal when it comes on.
