Welcome to the realm of Prince Potion
🔮🔱 Hey everyone,
I know I haven't been active on here, but I wanted to let you know that I'm posting on Patreon again, with a focus on FREE content - with the option to donate if desired. Patreon has made some changes that make it a better fit for me than it used to be. That is why I will be revamping my Patreon as a main hub for my artwork.
I'm also extremely burnout from social media, managing multiple sites, and it has taken its toll. Tired of chasing algorithms and hashtags, Patreon isn't really set up like that. I know I can post and it will end up emailed to followers, and I don't have to fight a feed with a million other voices. FurAffinity is similar in that, but it's means of uploading and the website in general is getting a bit outdated and esoteric. I want to share my art but it needs to be on the path of least resistance, if that makes sense.
I left Twitter a while ago, and so long as it is ruled by the elongated muskrat who strives to devalue my worth as a trans person, I will not return.
It's starting to look the same for Facebook, Instagram, or anything touched by Meta. I do not trust the zuck as far as I can throw him and every day it gets worse.
In other big news, I got a full-time non-art job to support myself. It feels a bit like giving up on my dreams, but I'm trying hard to make it work. I still have my Etsy shop, and I may offer merch tiers on Patreon in the future. Maybe some Patreon exclusives? Unsure what I'll try in the future.
As for my art itself... I’ve been working with more traditional media and exploring ways to heal my relationship with art after years of burnout. Though I’m still feeling burnt out, I’m taking it slow and trying to create a little bit every day.
